Robert Dinsdale’s The Harrowing – the first in a loose trilogy of novels set in Leeds – was published in 2009 and described as ‘stunning’ (The Times) and ‘haunting and unforgettable’ (Daily Telegraph). The Guardian said ‘Dinsdale’s description of war is sensational’.

He joins us to talk about the second book in the series, Three Miles, a detective/wartime novel set in Leeds in 1940: a city under siege.
