Charles Dickens’ work transcends time, language and culture. He remains a huge contemporary influence throughout the world, with his writings continuing to inspire film, TV, art, literature and artists.
On the eve of the bicentenary of his birth Charles Dickens’ great-great-great-granddaughter Lucinda Hawksley, herself an award-winning author, joins us to celebrate the man and his novels and why she thinks he is as relevant as ever.
