We’re delighted to welcome our new festival patron Gervase Phinn to open this year’s festival.

Gervase Phinn is well known for his five best-selling autobiographical novels based on life as a school inspector in North Yorkshire, which have been featured on Radio 4.  In addition he has published a wide range of poetry, short stories, plays and academic texts.  He will be reading from his works including his latest, Out of the Woods but not Over the Hill

A ticket for this event includes a 3-course lunch with tea/coffee to follow.  A vegetarian option is available.
