Saturday 9th October, Morley Library
10am Launch of the Children’s Heritage Trail of Morley
Join Mary Moneypenny, a Morley resident and worker from 100 years ago, on a guided tour of Morley. This new trail for families celebrates Morley’s vibrant past and heritage buildings, and was produced by pupils at Asquith Primary School, in partnership with artist Irene Lofthouse.
11am Story time
Morley author Gillian Rogerson reads from her picturebook You Can’t Eat A Princess, (as featured on CBeebies!), plus some of her other fun stories.
Saturday 16th October, Morley Library
10am-10.30am Babies Can Sign
A free taster session. Come along to the Library for songs, rhymes and learn some signing too.
11am-12noon Little Red Riding Hood: Puppet Show & Workshop
Moveable Feast present a puppet show of this classic fairy tale for 5-9 year olds and their families, followed by a puppet-making workshop.
