The next Morley Literature Festival will take place from the 11th to the 17th October 2010 so make sure to put the dates in big red letters in your diary!

Now in its fifth year, the festival team are planning another exciting mix of live literature events throughout the town. Expect poets in unusual places, well known names, authors in schools and much, much more besides.

Last year’s festival was our most successful to date with headline authors including Stuart Maconie, Wendy Cope, John Hegley, Derek Landy, Brian Turner and a sell-out Doctor Who Writers event. Download a pdf of the 2009 Festival Programme.
